CFO Strategic Partner Joe has over 15 years’ experience in CFO and Senior Finance roles across the consumer finance, FMCG, retail and publishing industries in Australia.
Specialist areas: Strategic planning, business unit performance reviews and improvement utilising activity based costing and KPIs; finance department turnaround and productivity focussing on process review / redesign and staff training & development; commercial analysis including major capital expenditure and acquisitions; and is expert in all business and financial modelling and data analysis & interpretation.

Joe has proven experience in major listed and unlisted organisations operating in diverse industries. His responsibilities ranged across all aspects of finance and finance systems. He began his career with KPMG.and then advanced his skills in blue chip ASX listed companies. Joe has demonstrated a hands on approach with commercial insight in his more recent roles as Chief Financial Officer for Once Group (including the ASX listed subsidiary Infochoice) and Coachair Group.
Joe has recently been engaged in CFO roles in emerging technology and software development businesses.
Joe specialises in helping organisations which are undergoing significant change or growth to develop and implement the vital supporting commercial and financial strategies, teams, systems and processes. Many of his past roles have required effective turnaround of critical areas of the finance function. Joe is a specialist in ensuring the integrity of financial information and efficiently working through the critical commercial issues and implications with CEOs and Boards.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Accounting from Sydney University and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. Joe also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and is a current member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
